They all help each other out and regularly share experiences and insights too – which all adds up to a unique knowledge bank and resources pool at your disposal. Each of our consultants has highlighted their favourite destinations, so please take a look…
Daisy brings a wealth of experience having clocked up 17 years at independent tour operator Anatolian Sky Holidays, who specialised in Eastern Mediterranean packages to the likes of Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, Egypt and Morocco. Latterly however, she booked a lot of long haul exclusives to the idyllic Indian Ocean (Mauritius and The Seychelles) as well as boutique cruises to Costa Rica and other Central American gems, while Croatia is her favourite up-and-coming destination – especially the unspoilt island paradise of Hvar.
Daisy enjoyed a lot of repeat business and one-to-one personal service, so for her the transfer is a seamless one with Everywhere Travel also renowned for long standing relationships with their clients and a rapport built on trust, respect and friendship. Outside of work she’s a nature lover keen on both books and TV documentaries about science, the planets and health.
Julie is another former Anatolian Sky stalwart (13 years – and their demise is our gain) who never tired of regularly visiting and researching new destinations and resorts. The well-to-do Turkish harbour side town of Kalkan is a particular favourite, but she has also travelled extensively across the former Yugoslavia (Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, etc) and it’s panoramic Dalmatian Coast and thinks it’s still very much a well kept secret.
Cruises are another speciality and she likes nothing better than really getting to know customers and going the extra mile by tailor making packages to suit individual tastes and desires. Julie also started her travel career in the coach sector and still thinks it’s a cost effective and very personal way of seeing and experiencing the world. Outside of work she continues to travel and also finds time to keep herself in trim at the gym and as a regular walker.
Kieran has already packed a lot into his travel career after stints at Thomas Cook on the High Street (5 star packages were a particular favourite) but also a well respected leisure and business travel agency in city centre Birmingham, who specialise in escorted tours.
Gran Canaria is his preferred Canary island; Greek favourite Corfu comes highly recommended for young, old and families alike, while he knows every Balearic island like the back of his hand from both a work and personal holiday point of view. Recently qualified as an Australian specialist however, he now knows this to be his favourite destination and the most variably stunning country in the world. Outside of work he describes himself as a socialising shopaholic with The Bullring and local cinema, bowling and restaurants all regular haunts.
Stephanie O’Reilly is the Everywhere Travel MD and has travelled extensively in the Caribbean, Asia and Europe. She also has vast knowledge of the leisure and entertainment sectors. She skis every year and adores cruising – because of the plethora of fun activities onboard and the fact you can wake up in a beautifully different country everyday and take in new sights and cultures. When she’s not busy exploring or fact finding, Stephanie even runs marathons for charity.
Jade is a very experienced campaigner who brings nearly 20 years worth of experience to the Everywhere Travel team – as a resort manager, overseas rep and business travel advisor. Having lived in Turkey (the seaside town of Bodrum) for four years and now having family there, it’s like a second home to her, while Florida and especially Walt Disney World is a magical place that lights up kids (and adults!) faces like no other. Jade is also a big fan of Cuba’s pristine beaches that are as good as any in the Caribbean, plus the characterful little villages where time stands still and the pace of life is much slower.
Work and travelling aside, she’s a self-confessed sports nut with live football (Birmingham City) and athletics her favourite watches, plus she’s also training to be a make-up artist in her spare time.
Harinder is the team manager with a degree in Travel from a top London university and bags (even suitcases) of experience and expertise. Four years at Virgin Holidays in the capital were followed by prominent business development roles at two Birmingham start ups specialising in wedding shows and exhibitions, plus the high end market. Extensive experience within both businesses meant Harinder established and looked after a worldwide luxury client base. She then set up Travel Counsellors from home with a well earned reputation for passionate delivery and service excellence, before the lure of a busy and buzzing office environment again brought her home to us.
Dubai is her family favourite destination, as it ticks all the boxes and more, but for sheer relaxing indulgence and breathtaking beauty it has to be The Maldives. Away from work she likes to look into exciting new destinations for her forthcoming travel plans, but still finds time for regular gym visits.
